Logging in

You will see a menu item inviting you to log in to the site.  This has been put in place to enable FTA members to have access to the bulk of the site, which is not available to non-members.  While we will continue to place interesting material in the public sections of the site, the really interesting and up-to-date material can only be viewed by financial members.  We will also be seeking our members’ views on issues through forum discussions and polls.  You will be given your log-on details when you become a member.

Screen Icons

Just above the content on each page of this site you will see three small icons.

If you click on the first one, the page will convert to a PDF format.  This can be handy for increasing the size of the font to make reading easier, or for doing other useful things with the text.

The second icon enables you to print off the content in the page; not the whole screen, just the content.

The third icon gives you the ability to email the content of the page to someone who might be interested.

Participating in Forums

The forums module allows members only to participate in current discussions or start a new one.
Once you have logged in, click on ‘Forums’ in the main menu.  To see what topics are being discussed, click on the links listed under ‘Forums’ in the gray-coloured menu bar.  By clicking on any one of individual forum topics currently running, you can see what people are saying on the topic.  Look at the top menu and you’ll see a number of options.  Click on each of them sometime, to see how it all works.   You’ll be surprised at what you can do, including posting your own comments where you want to have your say.

No forums have yet been activated.
