Logging inYou will see a menu item inviting you to log in to the site. This has been put in place to enable FTA members to have access to the bulk of the site, which is not available to non-members. While we will continue to place interesting material in the public sections of the site, the really interesting and up-to-date material can be viewed by financial members only. Only members will be able to take part in forum discussions or various polls we will be taking to enable you to give your views on issues of the day, after they have gained access to the members section by logging in.
To gain access to the members section you must first be a financial member and have notified us (preferably by email) of the user name and password you wish to use, and your email address. Please give us 72 hours to process your request for registration. User names and passwords need to be at least six characters long. User names must not have any gaps; a continuous word is required
Changing your registration details. After you have received your login details, you may wish to change them. You can do this by clicking on ‘Your details’ in the user menu that appears on the left side of the screen, on the members' page.
Participating in Forums The forums module allows you to participate in discussion on issues that people believe are important. You will be able to start your own topic for others to discuss, and/or look at what other people have started and contribute to the discussion on each or everyone of them. Here’s how it works.
Click on ‘Forums’ in the main menu showing on the left hand side of the screen. A new screen will appear. To see what topics are being discussed, click on the links listed under ‘Forums’ in the gray-coloured menu bar. A new screen appears which shows the individual forum topics currently running. By clicking on any one of these, you can see what people are saying on the topic. Look at the top menu and you’ll see a number of options. Click on each of them sometime, to see how it all works. You’ll be surprised at what you can do, including posting your own comments where you want to have your say.
