Future Times

This publication is produced quarterly, covering such topics as technology, people and change, trade, youth, race relations, health, transport, work and the environment in a New Zealand context. Each edition examines up-to-date research on relevant topics and includes commentary from recognised experts. It may also include overseas studies, abstracts of publications, book reviews and items of interest regarding future studies. It includes Future Watch a futures scanning section which abstracts recent books and articles from a variety of journals and lists them under significant topic headings such as work, health, social, and peace.

e-Future Times

 An electronic extension of Future Times published on an ad hoc basis containing articles that could not be included in the current issue of Future Times because of space constraints and when appropriate the full version of a Future Times summary article with references etc.

Wellington Forums

Bi-monthly forums are organised by FTA in Wellington, featuring issues that are clearly going to be of importance to New Zealand’s future.  Each forum is usually held during the lunch break, most often (but not always) in Turnbull House, Bowen Street, opposite the Beehive.   Details can be seen in Future Times, the ‘Coming Events’ section on this web site, or advised by email prior to the event.
